I was on liquids for 2 weeks then colon prep the day before surgery so I was pretty well cleaned out. Then didn't go for a week after surgery until I took milk of mag. leojones 4 Posted June 21, 2017 I had surgery yesterday. Worst pain I ever felt. The incisions don't hurt. It's the gas.I am better today and will be better tomorrow. The gas is no joke. Also do the breathing exercises. I could not talk yesterday and my voice came back today. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile appHad my surgery on the 15th and the gas was a real pain! I'm 6 days post op and it's long gone now. I had the surgery on a Thursday and it was pretty much gone by Monday. It was indeed painful, but thank god it was short-lived. 1 Donedeal reacted to this
JaneO 15 Posted June 21, 2017 The gas for me was the worst part too. I used a lot of chewable gas-x that first week. 1 Donedeal reacted to this

This week I've only lost 1! My doctor says I should be losing a pound a day initially. I've been having trouble getting all my Protein down. It's too sweet now. I can't stand it! I say all of that to say it's a process and I'm trying not to focus on the weight loss but making sure I'm eating and drinking on schedule. The weight loss will happen.
