Ok...Did anyone have to exercise up to 1hr and 15mins or equivalent it to 5000 steps?

It's really pissing me off because I got cleared by both dietician and bariatrician, I just needed the ok from the psychologist. Ever since I started the program I haven't gained a pound and have lost every visit. I've increased my activity by a great deal yet, it feels like she makes it seem as if it's no effort. I exercise for 45mins and I'm very independent, so I clean, cook, etc. while standing. Anyways she's saying that ppl who get the surgery are encouraged to exercise up to 2hrs and 1/2....Has anyone else been told this?

Insurance has been the only ones to require specifics. Idk how a psychologist can prevent you from having surgery. The surgeon makes that decision. Only recommendations should come the psychologist.

Well I'm guessing she has to make sure I'm mentally ready smh lol. I've made an initiative to even get to 3000/45mins a day, yet that's not good enough. Her answer is I have to make it at 5000/1hr 15 mins because after surgery They want us to aim for 10000/2hr 30min a day, this weight institute is supposed to be one of the best, but it has me questioning....yes I'm an incomplete quadriplegic, what about those that arent, it's practically scaring them away with this high expectations. Since I started in Dec. I have gained weight but lost weight. I want this surgery to prolong and enhance my life, making me able to overcome obstacles. Initially I want to encourage ppl that are in wheelchairs and obese to take a chance on surgery, I just won't recommend the facility I'm at lol
