I had a friend that cheated on hers and she just took some stuff to clean her stomach out. Like myralax and citric acid or something. Just poop it out and get back up and keep going. Don't give up on yourself. Make sure you just be honest with the doc. Don't be hard on yourself. As long as you don't keep doing it. The purpose is to shrink your liver to have easier and safer access to your stomach. You got this. I'm sure you're not the only one. Don't be yourself up. I'm here at hospital waiting to be called to room. It's my big day. I'm excited and nervous but looking forward to a new me. Much love and blessings to you.

I've been struggling too but I reset the other day and got my mind right. All you can change is today and take each day as it comes. I have some matcha tea I use to help fast and it really helps and also cleans out Water and poo weight;)

And not everyone who flubs on the preop isn't successful. My brother completely blew his preop diet for his lap band and became the surgeon's poster boy he was so successful. Like eight year layers and he still has kept it off.

Hang in there it does get better. I'm on day 7 surgery is next Friday and I had headaches and would close my eyes and see food. I was hangry and cranky lol. Now it is so simple Sunday I'll start the all liquid part and hope it is quick. It's funny how a normal week flys by but these two weeks have dragged lol. Good luck I know you can do it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
