I am 2 months post op & I have lost 11%.
Percent weightloss is more accurate to compare as people start off with different weights.
What are you seeking to find out ?

Hey! Thanks for responding! I don't recall my surgeon setting goals for me.. at least not yet ( lose x smith by this time for example). Right now I am 8 days post op and I am down 23 lbs since surgery. I actually gained on my pre op. I assume that this rapid weight loss will stop soon so I was just trying to get an idea of what people's average percent or lbs lost around 3 months :)

So my surgeon didn't give me intermittent goals either, just an end goal. You will see the rapid weight loss slow down & will even hit some stalls. Some very discouraging, frustrating & scary stalls. But just stay focused on your high Protein, low carb & active lifestyle & you will get to your goal. I lost 30 pounds in the 1st 6 weeks...then a 2 week stall where o gained 2 pounds..YIKES. Now i am slowly starting to loose again.
Age has a lot to do with it too. Younger you are the smoother your weight loss journey !!! Good luck.
