That's funny.

It's illegal to have booty sex in Alabama! Oh, and oral.

But I dare a cop to come in my bedroom and regulate what I do with my husband.. Of course, he'll need to have his hand cuffs ready.

In Decatur,AL it is illegal to walk around with an ice cream in your back pocket.

And somewhere it's illegal to marry your uncle's pig.

I always wish they'd explain the reason for the law.. because you know 'something' happened to cause it!

They attempted to pass a law in Tombstone, AZ a few years ago that you had to have a diaper on your horse while riding down public streets. Not sure if it ever passed or not.

A few years ago folks, not 100 years ago. :)

In Coral Gables, FL, it is against the city architectural code to have monkeys in the trees in your front lawn. It's okay in the backyard trees, but don't even think about letting them hang out in the front.

Interacial marriages are illegal in Alabama.. I think they put it to a re-vote since it was an 'old law', but last I heard, they turned it down because-- "It's tradition".

Heh.

A law passed in Denver says that the dog catcher must notify dogs of impounding by posting, for three consecutive days, a notice on a tree in the city park and along a public road running through said park.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
