CINNAMON 2015 43 Posted April 11, 2017 Hi, yes I went through this. It is normal, mine lasted about 6 months. Not fun when you're going through it, but it will stop. Hang in there! Good Luck!
catwoman7 11,221 Posted April 11, 2017 I didn't lose any hair, but most people do. It'll stop and then grow back in.
Dedeains 11 Posted April 11, 2017 I haven't reached that stage yet, but my Dr told me it is inevitable. He suggested I buy Rogaine for men not the one for women. He said it helps a lot with the Hair loss. 1 ysewell76 reacted to this

ceow 7 Posted April 11, 2017 Hair loss is normal. Any time your body goes through trauma, your hair will fall out. This is a wee bit different. You have got to stay on your Vitamins and make sure you get 60gm of Protein a day (that was my instruction). I was given a name of a specific Vitamin that CVS didn't carry. We were told probably GNC or Amazon would be the only place to get it. Actually 3-collagen with hyaluronic acid for hair, skin & nails and it is at GNC. chondroitin and glucosamine for bones & joints, especially if you are post menopausal. 1 lf1227 reacted to this
Justweight 33 Posted April 11, 2017 I don't think I'm at that stage yet where I'm suppose to lose my hair. However, I take 4 Biotin pills daily. 40,000mg. I would be devastated if I start losing my hair. I hope it doesn't happen to me 1 catcharles reacted to this
bostonmama 135 Posted April 12, 2017 I lost a lot of hair, you could really see my scalp in some places. I like to think I was able to make it look better with bangs and styling it differently (down instead of up). It just started growing back. I'm 6 months post RNY and started taking Biotin about a month ago. I could feel the hair growing back before I could really see it. It felt like my hair was really dirty at the roots when I ran my hands through it, then I realized it was a bunch of tiny hairs that was causing the strange feeling. 1 tanyamann32 reacted to this
