ejh666 1 Posted April 10, 2017 I'm 26 and plan on having the bypass later this year. My main reason for this surgery is because I'm ready to start a family. Is there anyone out there who had the same goal as me? If so how long afterwards, how ,how much did you weigh? Was the pregnancy a healthy one? Any advice or stories are welcome! 1 KassMiller reacted to this
KassMiller 26 Posted June 1, 2017 I know I am in this Same boat save i have a 5 year old but have been struggling since I she was 2. I'm going to be 29 this year and I had her at 23... I had my surgery on the 23rd of this month. Good luck with everything and as far as I've been reading through posts. As long as it's 12 months or later post op it's best but some have gotten pregnant right away and still managed to come out at the end alright. LiciKitty 88 Posted June 1, 2017 I had the sleeve on the 26th but having children was one of my main reasons for doing so.I have been told to wait atleast 18 months before pregnancy. 1 chynadoll619 reacted to this
