Pistolkisstal 17 Posted April 8, 2017 I've posted on a couple forums before but haven't fully introduced myself. I'm from Arizona , I'm 32 and have struggled with my weight all my life. Lost some weight with medifast but gained it back and also with Atkins. Decided on the surgery about four months ago and did it Thur the company I work for. One of the best Bariatrics surgeons around. I didnt have to lose any weight per the insurance but the surgeon wanted me to lose a little beforehand. I lost about ten pounds before and last Monday was my surgery. I felt pretty good the first couple days but had little set backs of feeling just gurgley and weird. Also I was told beforehand that I might have had small holes in my diaphragm that would need fixed if they could they would. They couldn't fix it because it would mean an open surgery to get to where they need. I woke up from surgery and when I talked to the doc he said that they actually had to reposition my stomach and lengthen my esophagus because my small intestines weren't exactly long enough. He also told me that there were seven cuts because the one under my left boob they accidentally hit an artery and had to stitch them up and move next to it o it'll be pretty sore there. I'm six days out and can say that son of a bee hurts like hell even still haha. I get to drink until first protien drink today and I'm excited about it. Been trying to walk as much as possible and am trying to work up to drinking four bottles of Water still on three /three and a half.
