reneaw 6 Posted April 7, 2017 I feel like crap! I felt great in the hospital, but since being at home, my pain and nausea have increased. I hate the liquid pain killer. It's so gross. How long until I start feeling better?Sent from my SM-N910P using BariatricPal mobile app
YeaMe 246 Posted April 7, 2017 I was lucky and had no pain, but the nausea about took me down. I was nauseated for about 3 days at home. Once I was able to start forcing Water down it made it a lot better. There is blood and bile in there and no food, so the combo hits some people really hard. Sip water continually and you will start to feel better. Hang in there- it does get better!
mariernest 33 Posted April 8, 2017 I hate liquids right now! Loved Water before but now I can feel every drop hit my stomach. Also having to have half of the 96 ounces be drinks with electrolytes is awful because I can't stand any thing sweet. Protein Shakes don't count either. chavezmommy 146 Posted April 18, 2017 It took me a week post op for the pain to be tolerable. When I wore a binder that helped a ton with pain. I took anti-nausea meds that helped some. Hang in there and walk and rest, get your fluids in. You got this! 1 dtrdabomb reacted to this
