metallica-mommylove 2 Posted April 6, 2017 Did anyone start with a low BMI? If so, I am curious how your weight loss is going. I think my bmi was 33 at the time of surgery two weeks ago 3/21 ; 180 lbs preop ; as for weight loss is coming slowly coming off . I'm 172 and eating itty bitty bites - I choke a lot - I feel full really easy and I'm mostly drinking Protein Water and Protein Shakes - . I'm my diet I include everything I feel is bland and soft , even mushy - but regardless of the food consistency and eating slow - it gets stock and is very uncomfortable. I rather do liquids so far . I wish the weight would just melt [emoji12]- not moving much just yet - I came back to work 6 days after surgery so I'm walking , but not doing cardio or anything like that . geena4u 10 Posted April 8, 2017 I had a Revision to MGB. I had a low BMI, today I'm at 7 weeks post op and the weight loss is extremely slow, lost 15 pounds. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong since there is a restriction but not as bad as the sleeve. I need to start tracking my carb intake, I'm sure that's the problem.
