JustGettingStarted 4 Posted April 3, 2017 I was vacuuming earlier in the day and had a sharp pain in my left side near one of the incisions now when I'm sitting it hurts.. has anyone else pulled a muscle or anything after the surgery?
linasg 26 Posted April 3, 2017 Just rest and take it easy. I'm 9 days out and I haven't done anything strenuous yet. Put your feet up and have a few sips of Water or Protein Shake. Also take your multi. You'll feel better soon. If the pain doesn't go then call the clinic.
bellabloom 2,467 Posted April 3, 2017 Just take it easy. Vacuuming can wait. The incisions are tiny so your fine in sure. Just rest.
About time for me 33 Posted April 3, 2017 Oh my goodness. You need to take it easy. I am 2.5 weeks out and can get through work, maybe a load of laundry and dishes before I am so weak I can't move. It takes a long time, we had major sugery.Sent from my SM-N910V using BariatricPal mobile app

It was specific. Something about the movement. He recommends only light housework and no lifting of anything over 10 lbs.
