NuHorizons 89 Posted May 23, 2017 Hi Everyone I just wanted to give a quick update on my sleeve to mgb progress. I'm 13 weeks post-op. I'm down 50 lbs pre-op; 44 since my revision. Here's a few pics that I took recently. Even though I'm not at my goal yet, I feel so good in the skin I'm in. I feel like I got my life back 😊 3 leesa794, MarinaGirl and GrrlAnn reacted to this

I'm down 64lbs total since my revision. My weight loss is much better than when I first got my sleeve in 2010. I plan on giving a detailed update next week around my 5month post op. 1 Trishe70 reacted to this
April1962 1 Posted August 5, 2017 Hi! Congratulations on your success! (i can't imagine what it feels like.) I had the lap-band 7 years ago and after initial success gained all the weight back. I'm considering a revision to gastric bypass and I just saw in this forum the procedure you had - the mini GP. Can you tell me what the difference is? Or why you decided to do the mini rather than the regular gastric bypass? I would really appreciate your insight! Thank you! 1 Trishe70 reacted to this
larta 26 Posted August 6, 2017 I just was converted from the lapland to the sleeve on July 10th. I am doing well. I don't know anything about a mini sleeve. I can already tell this sleeve operation was a great decision. I am already 10 lbs away from my goal weight because I kept the lapland and did not gain back. This is another adjustment, but not more sticking of food, indigestion, throwing up....much much better. Now to get the Protein in and Water. It is a challenge right now. Best to you on your upcoming surgery 1 NuHorizons reacted to this
