krisk12786 29 Posted April 2, 2017 I am having revision surgery on 4/20. I currently was very successful with vsg. I unfortunately had a ton of issues with reflux, gastroparesis, and esophageal dismotility which is why revision to rny. All approved with insurance and ready to go. I have pre op this Wednesday. I just have this terrible feeling something will go wrong. I have been stuck with all these issues and now I am getting it fixed. I guess I just can't believe it? I have also read all the rny horror stories I can find.. Anyone else freaking out? Anyone want a freak out buddy? 3 moe1983, LeaninLanc and mxpxchik11 reacted to this

GmaDiana 81 Posted April 10, 2017 It is normal to feel nervous.Just take a few deep breaths and try to relax.I had my revision from sleeve to bypass in Nov 2016.I am doing great.I was so nervous too,but well worth it to get rid of my reflux issues and have my Hiatal Hernia repaired again.feel so much better and have lost another 44 lbs so far.You will lose slower but if you need to lose weight you will. All without acid reflux. 1 Loseit33 reacted to this

GmaDiana 81 Posted April 11, 2017 After my paper work was submitted it was denied the first time, because insurance thought it was for weight loss.My Dr.did a Peer to Peer with insurance to make them understand it was due to acid reflux. Didn't take very long at all. Good luck at getting approved.
