Thick2slim83 26 Posted March 31, 2017 So I weighed myself this morning, and it looks like I lost 7 pounds since I started on Monday. I don't believe the scale. I am really having trouble drinking Water throughout the day and I get so hungry. Also having a hard time finishing off my Protein Shakes. Any suggestions? kins117 104 Posted March 31, 2017 I'm on Day 3 and having a hard time finishing my Protein Shakes as well. I'm so exhausted which is the hardest part for me. I weighed myself this morning and lost 0.0 in 2 days of under 600 calories. I don't even know how that is possible.
queendeborahbee 119 Posted March 31, 2017 Great job. Do you have different types of Protein Shakes, that has made it easier for me. I have the normal chocolate and vanilla but also the Syntrax Nectar which helps mix it up. I think you could also have chicken broth with unflavored Protein Powder and this would count as a shake but you should probably ask your surgeon's office. Sometimes the shakes are just TOO sweet. It is amazing how the weight drops with the pre-op diet. I'm on day 5 too and I'm exhausted. I am drinking the shakes and Water but I am horrible with the Vitamins. I need to get one of those pill organizers to help me remember. 1 Thick2slim83 reacted to this

MeltsIntoWonder 125 Posted March 31, 2017 (edited) Day 11 here. Hang in there, it gets better! I'm actually kind of freaked out (but impressed) by how well my body is handling it now. The first 4-5 days were really rough, but it things got better the first weekend, and now I actually have more energy and less hunger than I did before I started. Its definitely been encouraging as a possible glimpse into how things will be post-op.
