wiresandwood 15 Posted March 30, 2017 Hi all. I had my surgery nearly 3 months ago, and I am SO low energy! I feel lethargic all the time, and I fall asleep at 8 or 9 pm every night! I used to be a night owl. I am eating well, and definitely getting in all of my Protein, Vitamins and Fluid. Is this normal? Is it just my body adjusting to the low calorie intake? Any input would be appreciated.
mike_s 32 Posted March 31, 2017 Yes. This is normal. Your body is burning more calories than you are able to eat. If you are close to losing most of your excess weight, your energy should shoot through the roof for a few months. After than you'll come down some. Just hang in there. Sadiebug 206 Posted March 31, 2017 Maybe check your Iron? My energy was pretty low so my Dr had me add an iron supplement and it really helped. I was getting iron in my multis but I guess not enough. 1 wiresandwood reacted to this

Good point. I have always taken Vitron-C since I got home from the hospital. Even with the iron, was exhausted for the first few months.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1 wiresandwood reacted to this
wiresandwood 15 Posted April 3, 2017 Thanks for the responses. I will try upping my Iron and see if that helps at all. I guess it's pretty common to feel this way for a while after surgery!
