clevergirl 41 Posted March 30, 2017 My surgery is April 17. I am having trouble concentrating on things that I need to do (particularly at work) to prepare for a two week absence. I start one thing and then move to the next before the first is complete and then am paralyzed by what all needs to be done so I end up doing nothing. Same at home. I just want to come home and go to sleep. Anyone else feeling these types of "paralysis"? 1 gjb2017 reacted to this
HurricaneU 131 Posted March 30, 2017 Felt the same way. Surgery April 25th. I'm using my daily planner on my phone and I put together a shopping list on memo pad. It's help me focus more.
kins117 104 Posted March 30, 2017 I feel the same. Surgery is April 12th and I have so much to do, but feel like I can't focus on anything.
ryan_86 335 Posted March 30, 2017 Deep breath and remember: you've done hard things before and succeeded, and you will succeed this time as well.

More real than actually "Getting the VSG sometime in the future." More emotions to feel and process!
