kristenmh 68 Posted March 28, 2017 I'm a week post-op and still on my liquid diet. In general, I've started getting around 650-700 calories a day via Protein Shakes. In general, I'm able to get in around 60-70g of Protein, 45g carbs, 10-12g fat and 9gram of sugar. I've been able to get in my full 64oz of Water starting around day 5 post-op. I'm not sure if I should be eating fewer calories -- what are you guys doing?
shelli58 1 Posted March 28, 2017 I am 6 days Post-Op, I'm getting my Protien and getting over my 64oz of liquid. Am I going to fast? Plus today I was actually a little hungry! Is this normal?
linasg 26 Posted March 29, 2017 Wow! I'm nowhere near your Protein or calorie intake but everyone is different. I'm at 24g protein through Protein Shakes and protein Water. I'm getting about 300 calories a day. I am getting about 50oz of water a day. Good for you for being able to get your nutrition up so soon. I'm working on listening to my body signals and drinking on a regular schedule as well taking my supplements religiously. Good luck with your journey! You're off to a flying start! 1 shelli58 reacted to this

There's ban a lot of posts lately of people asking about getting out of a stall and seeing most have their calorie intake too low. In time there will be some trial & error on finding out what works best for you. Once you get into the pureed/soft food stages you'll begin to pay more attention to calories & carbs. Positivechange36 0 Posted March 30, 2017 I'm getting right at 60 grams of Protein and at least 64 ounces Water. Tomorrow 3/30, I will be 1 week post op. Even though I'm full most of the time, I want to chew something. I made my kids a salad and I just wanted to chew a piece of lettuce.
