thin4life14 2 Posted March 25, 2017 The gastric sleeve surgery was the best thing I ever did. I had it in August 2013 and lost over 100 pounds. I have been drinking diet soda and I know that my sleeve has stretched. I have gained 30 pounds back. I am desperate to go back to the way things were. If insurance doesn't cover it which I'm positive they probably won't can I still have revision surgery? Am I eligible at 160 pounds? I just want my sleeve back to the way it was. Or am I eligible for lap band?
Syaniya 319 Posted March 25, 2017 You want to undergo major surgery agsin for only 30 pounds?? Why not just go back to the basics...protein first, measuring your food, no snacking, no drinking with meals, etc....

Go back to doing whatever you did to lose 100 pounds. But whatever you do do not get a Lap Band 1 MamaRita reacted to this
A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted March 27, 2017 I just revised from lap band to the sleeve as it was so uncomfortable for me and I didn't like always having to adjust it or stuck episodes. It's great for many, just wasn't for me. Can you try a pouch reset diet for a few days and cut the soda to try to get your restriction back?
