Renzster 8 Posted March 25, 2017 I am day four post sleeve surgery. Yesterday I noticed blood in the toilet after urinating. Today the same..anyone else have this?
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted March 25, 2017 Contact your Dr, go to the ER. Not normal. 2 Renzster and TheRealMeIsHere! reacted to this
clc9 644 Posted March 25, 2017 Agree with the above, but one other thought. Could it be your period? Surgery tends to start it for many of us when it isn't expected. 2 Renzster and TheRealMeIsHere! reacted to this
Renzster 8 Posted March 25, 2017 I am wondering that too..I'm 57 and haven't had a period in 10 months. I put a pad on and there is a little blood. Seems to be clearing up since yesterday...I'll bet you are right 1 TheRealMeIsHere! reacted to this
ANewLife4_Me 16 Posted March 25, 2017 I started spotting the day of my surgery (after two week pre op diet where I dropped 26 lbs)I'm week 5 and still spotting, nothing heavy but it is in the toilet. (I'm also on a BC shot, so I shouldn't have a period at all)I was told it is my hormones going crazy, I also have pop up acne, which I never had previously. It is mostly brownish, so 'older' shed. 1 Renzster reacted to this
Renzster 8 Posted March 25, 2017 I can believe hormones are being affected! 1 TheRealMeIsHere! reacted to this
clc9 644 Posted March 25, 2017 Fat is a major storer of estrogen, so burning fat is releasing that estrogen. That plus the trauma of surgery is likely enough to cause spotting! 1 Renzster reacted to this
resitton 50 Posted April 11, 2017 I get that way whenever I go into Ketosis- body is releasing estrogen stored in your body fat... I'm 4 days post surgery and have had spotting since day 3 of my pre-op plan. I am not concerned about it but if you are, go seek assistance. Best wishes!
