whosyadaddy 0 Posted October 1, 2007 I am banded in Two Rivers/Manitowoc Area. anyone else near here or Green Bay?
lindaa 1 Posted October 7, 2007 Manitowoc/Two Rivers??? No kidding! Who did it and where do you go for fills? I live in Sheboygan and the closest (and most reasonable) fill doc I could find was in Milwaukee?
musicalmomma 1 Posted October 8, 2007 Whosyadaddy is my hubby We were both banded in Green Bay by Dr. Kemmerling. I don't think he will do a fill if he didn't do the surgery. The only reason I say that is...once I brought up the Mexico option and he said, "One problem with that, is finding a doctor to do the fills when you get back". Which led me to believe he doesn't. BUT, he's a WONDERFUL man and may just make exceptions...it's worth a call :grouphug:

Robin Bird 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Hey, Sorry I didn't notice your reply til now. I haven't been around much lately. Yep, I'm still losing. Sometimes I'm not quite sure how! I was hoping to be at my goal by my 1 year banding anniversary, but I'm afraid I probably won't make it. Especially since we are leaving tomorrow for a week at Disney World! I will be thinking of all my cold-weather frineds while I'm in Florida... Take care! Robin
debkashdan 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Greetings Robin - I know you made that post about a month ago, but I just saw it today - and I wnated to let you know that I am in Howard! Hope all is well - I am almost 4 weeks post-op and not sure how much I have lost since my initial post-op 1 week visit. I have my first fill appointment scheduled for Nov 21. Who was your surgeon? Mine was Dr. Kemmerling. Look forward to hearing back!
Robin Bird 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Hi Deb! Congratulations on the surgery. At 4 weeks out, the worst is behind you! This Sunday will be my 1-year "bandiversary". I consider it to be the one of the best things I've ever done. I was lucky and had no complications. The best part: I have lost 117 pounds. I'm even able to run 3 miles every other day! That's something I never dreamed I'd do. I can't say that I LOVE to do it, but I do it JUST BECAUSE I CAN!!!!! I also had Dr. Kemmerling. Don't you love Mary E.?! She's the best. Good luck to you! Please keep us updated on your progress. Also feel free to private message me anytime. Take care! Robin
