I have a few of those things and they do help me. Small bowls, a few small plates, and a set of toddler utensils (not plastic, normal steel) The tiny spoon helped today when I was only allowed 2tbsp pudding for lunch (3 days post op). I also have some 2oz disposable plastic containers with lids for preparing single servings of pudding, Jello, etc.

I've been using baby plates and baby spoons since I started my pre op and still use them all the time. It helps alot. Plus you can find super cute plates lol.

Nope. I don't use any of that. I purchased some very nice flatware and dishes before I considered surgery. I use those. Almost 2 years later I am happy with my choice.

I find putting my smaller portions on normal size plates helps me better gauge what portions should look like. So when I am not at home it makes it easier to eye ball how much I should eat.

The rest of the world isn't going to feed you on Bariatric plates or baby you. So I felt it was better to learn to adapt.

I bought a plate for bariatric patients but never used it. I do use my kitchen scale every day.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
