orionburn 1,024 Posted March 24, 2017 Feeling cold after surgery is common for most. This winter was much harder to deal with compared to those in the past. Just be sure to take your temperature to make sure the chills aren't related to a fever. 2 LeaninLanc and grandma gina reacted to this
grandma gina 0 Posted March 24, 2017 No I don't have a fever. I had my surgery May 5 2016 and I can't get warm. I thought it might be a side effect from surgery

I thought it might be a side effect from surgery I think the side effect is losing the weight and not having as much insulation any longer...lol. In all honesty though I've seen a ton of posts on here of people asking the same thing. It's quite common.
grandma gina 0 Posted March 24, 2017 Thank you I'm having a awful time at night it seems to be worst at bedtime. I use electric blanket but I still freeze. During day I don't notice it as bad. I think it's cause I'm up and moving around.
EmmyJ 184 Posted March 25, 2017 I'm cold all the time now, and I don't feel like I can blame it on less insulation yet because I've only lost 30 pounds since surgery but you're not alone! I wear extra layers to bed now.
