hmills653 365 Posted March 23, 2017 So I already have an apron and the surgeon said it will get worse after surgery. Does anyone know if I can do toning exercises to get rid of that our is a Tummy Tuck inevitable? I'm just hoping to not have to spend the money.
Newme17 3,444 Posted March 23, 2017 I'm pretty sure you'll need the tuck, unfortunately. I will too. So I'm going to start saving for it.
FreckledfaceG 21 Posted April 8, 2017 Me too after two C Sections it is horrible. How much have you heard the surgery costs?
evesta 67 Posted April 8, 2017 I've had two csections, lap band and gallbladder out. I will have a Tummy Tuck and breast lift at some point. I too have an apron and carry most of my weight in the middle. Luckily my legs and arms are smaller so that skin won't be as much of an issue. I have no idea how I'll pay but I'll find a way if someone does payment plan. Good luck everyone!
BubbleSam 87 Posted April 9, 2017 I'm going to need the have my tummy done and possible a body lift. Depends on how bad my skin is after all of this. I will be getting a breast done as well. I know where I am the breast cost about $6,000 and the one office I called about the tummy was $12,000. I'm hoping they can do some kind of package and do a discount. I already started saving... my biggest fear is loosing all of the weight and still being unhappy with my body so saving for the cosmetic stuff is one of my biggest goals financially. 2 jennyqp and kbellakat reacted to this

hmills653 365 Posted April 13, 2017 So, my doctor told me that the insurance will help cover the cost of a Tummy Tuck if you are having medical issues from it. He said you would have to have seen the doctor and have it documented as you lose the weight that you are having redness, irritation or yeasty issues. Normally, I wouldn't go to my doctor for that as there are otc treatments but if I can get 90% of my procedure covered by my insurance I'll show you my under belly irritation lol. Does anyone know how long after surgery you can have a tummy tuck bc if I can have it around December after surgery end of May I've already met my deductible.... 1 HC1988 reacted to this

I think it depends on how much you have to loose. I don't think they want it too early because you may not have lost enough and you might have a better outcome a little farther out. I would check with whoever is going to do it.
bridgesrhonda 14 Posted April 15, 2017 do you have to pay out of pocket for that
hmills653 365 Posted June 7, 2017 I think now that the insurance would cover a panniculectomy if there's documented medical problems related to excess skin, not a Tummy Tuck.
