SweetPeaGracie 30 Posted March 22, 2017 5 weeks post op tomorrow and down 25 lbs. I will be eating lunch out with a friend of mine this week. No one knows I had the sleeve but my sister. I am worried about what to eat and will it seem weird to my friend if I eat so little?I have looked at the menu so I do have an idea of what they serve. Any advice? shawnak911 60 Posted March 22, 2017 I say I had a large Breakfast and order Soup or lie and say that my stomach is upset . 1 Dashofpixiedust8 reacted to this
Dashofpixiedust8 1,469 Posted March 22, 2017 I would say Soup or a braised meat. Something soft and easily digested.
carrie3101 11 Posted March 22, 2017 This was an issue a lot for me in the beginning because I frequently went to work dinners. Soup and stews really saved me, since no one can really tell how much soup you actually eat. I'm not sure if you're allowed salad yet, but that's always really good because you can pick on it all night and no one can tell how much you've actually eaten. 3 Finally17, kafinator330 and Dashofpixiedust8 reacted to this
SweetPeaGracie 30 Posted March 23, 2017 I had a small plate meal and just ate the "protein" chicken and I was good. 1 OutsideMatchInside reacted to this

NWJill 119 Posted March 24, 2017 I agree with Soup, I had to do work travel 3 weeks post op and I ate a lot of soup since no one from work knows I had surgery.
