Beautiful Life 1 Posted March 21, 2017 Hi Fellow Sleevers!! This might seem like an odd topic, but does anyone actually physically feel their sleeve, like you realize its there? For the last couple years I can feel something always there! I was thinking scar tissue since I am so many years post op! It does not hurt by no means, but I know its there and sometimes when I sleep I have to adjust, but nothing major! I was just curious if I am the only one or what everyone's thoughts are Thanks for any Help!! 1 FLLyssa reacted to this

I could feel my heart rate there and it seemed like thick there. Just different. No pain. I'm 2 years out and I was curious about this. I'm so glad you posted. Joann454 1,329 Posted March 22, 2017 But why? I wonder why you guys are feeling it. There is something about this that made me get a little weak In the knees! Lol. If anyone finds out why they are suddenly feeling it, please share. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App 1 Finally17 reacted to this
Beautiful Life 1 Posted March 23, 2017 I am glad to hear I am not alone! Hopefully someone will respond to us all with correct reasoning per their doctor! Sometimes its a bother, because I can feel it, I am always aware that it is there. My feeling is on the left side right under my left breast but just slightly left of the heart. I rub it sometimes to make that weird feeling subside, but it never truly does!
Blater 17 Posted April 15, 2017 This is so interesting. Something I will have to keep an eye on. Do you think it's some sort of hernia? 1 john925 reacted to this
Pescador 1,374 Posted April 18, 2017 Four years out and feel nothing. I never felt anything. Just wish I had more restriction when eating. 1 Blater reacted to this

When did you notice lessening restriction? What can you eat now than you couldn't before?
Greensleevie 451 Posted April 19, 2017 Over 3 years out and I feel completely normal. Just some restriction when I eat, but these days that subsides fairly fast, almost as fast as it did pre op. Wish I still had that great restriction like I did the first year or so.
Pescador 1,374 Posted April 19, 2017 I gained back slowly over the past three years. The first Year I lost. I can eat anything. Now. I am back on shakes. I eat boiled eggs. I eat tuna. We eat lots of salads. We do not eat out. I am back on diets. The surgeon had me work with a life coach. Nothing works. Just bought a treadmill. Oh well I would still do it again. Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) In a couple of weeks, I will be 8 years out. I can't feel my sleeve. I still get full really fast. If I eat meat, I am full for hours. Edited April 21, 2017 by Oregondaisy
