Tue- weight lifting 45 mins, pool laps 30 - 35 mins

I really thinking of working in the couch to 5k programme. You think thats a good idea for me or am i still to overweight?

Whos, you could definately do it, its not as bad as I originally thought it would be! Come join us Couch to 5K - Week of 14 – 20 October

I will for sure be repeating week 1, and probably every other week as well. It only really takes about 30 minutes and they say to do it every other day. When I got off the treadmill last night I was dripping with sweat, similar to spinning...Great workout. And I am for sure not running fast, 4.2mph was my average and I think I'm going to stick to that for a while.

Okay Monday night. Did 70 crunches before my step aerobics class. Step aerobics had a sub instructor who decides then at the end of class to do...guess what...ab work!..LOL. A wee bit sore today. The workout was great though.

Ohh asked my trainer about the feet falling asleep on the eleptical issue. He said he has heard of this issue before but really does not know why it occurs. He checked my shoe laces and shoes. But said they were great. I'm suppose to contact my doctor about it. I'm really not worried about it..I think it's just annoying.

Right now its Boss's day at work. and I'm trying like hell to avoid the donuts and bagles and all the other crap sitting out..ugh!!

Walked to & from the gym: 2.73 mi., 30 min.

Elliptical: 91 min. Thought I'd see how long I could last just for grins & giggles. Boy, my feet were burning!

jmcambra-Yes, my body lift is an early Christmas gift & also a Bandiversary gift as it will be my 2 Year Anniversary the day after my surgery.;)

Spin class last night, 60 minutes. I'm sore today and I have to do week 1 workout 2 of couch to 5k tonight. Ouchie!

jm---I did it! Week 1 of Couch to 5k. I actually RAN! or Jogged! Major NSV for me. Wasnt that bad either. Jelly legs afterwards.

Then did 50 mins swiming 42 laps.

Whos, that is so awesome! I'm so excited. I was going to do workout 2 tonight, but my hips are really sore. Too sore. I think I'm going to do it tomorrow instead. And I'm definately going to repeat week 1 at least once.

Last night 30 minutes on eleptical broke up by 15 minutes each

Circuit training on the weight machines

80 crunches

The halloween candy is already getting to me..geezeee...bad bad bad bad

Last week at the office someone brought in like 2 pounds of different kinds of hershey kisses in a huge bowl. I had to look at them for a week before they were gone!..ugh..I wish peeps could just keep that stuff at their desks or something.

Dibaby...i think we should start an office tips thread for us office peeps. I could use tips on food , i keep a 12lb dumbbell in my office now and curl it while on my hands fee headset.

And i can cook a whole 3 course meal in our microwave now:)

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

        Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
