Hello everybody!

I am newly banded (sept 13) and have had wonderful results so far. I have lost a total of 27.5 pounds in about three weeks. I feel so much better than before the sugery. Yesterday I walked with my daughter up the hill to cheerleading practice and didn't get winded. I can't remember the last time I didn't struggle just to get half-way up! I heard about this site from a lady in my support group and had to give it a try. Despite the fact that my family and friends are very supportive and encouraging I feel as though I don't have anybody to talk to about what I'm going through. I hope to meet some new online friends who are sharing this experience to chat with.

Welcome New Kid......

Glad you found the site. It has realy helped me since my surgery. Its really nice to hear other opinions on stuff and to hear thier progress. Congrats on your progress. I only wish I had done this sooner and found this site before I had mine.
