erica_ozzy73 241 Posted March 21, 2017 For myself I didn't need any help. I was cleaning from the time I got home lol. Although I became fatigued quickly. I forgot I wasn't allowed to pick heavy things up or mop the floor but both I did. Everyone is different and honestly you won't know until you are home. But you would be in bed when your hubby is at work and getting up for the loo is no problems. Have you got young children that need picking up? That maybe a problem. 1 carlychloe2 reacted to this
mylighthouse 782 Posted March 21, 2017 You should be fine through the night. My husband was able to take a week off, but I really didn't need the help. I was very sore, but could still get up on my own to get to the bathroom and get back and forth to the kitchen, etc., with no help at all. You might be pretty sore the first few to several days. My worst day was day 4, but after that the pain started easing up. I have seen people on here say that they never really had much pain and some didn't even need pain meds. It varies from person to person. Good luck! 1 carlychloe2 reacted to this
SweetPeaGracie 30 Posted March 23, 2017 I took care of myself as my husband died last year and I was fine with my recovery. 2 carlychloe2 and Deactivatedfatgal reacted to this

Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 23, 2017 My mom stayed with me for five days but honestly, I took care of myself the entire time. Worst thing for me has been the main incision site pain, which is not unbearable if I hold the area, stopped pain mess on 3 dpo.
