Mandybb 183 Posted March 29, 2017 I had surgery exactly on the same day as you!! I started at 255 and now I'm at 217, possibly 216 or 215 I don't weigh in till Friday. But that's only 38 pounds and my doctor said I'm a slower loser. I think your weight loss for your starting weight is right on target. You are doing fantastic, keep up the great work! 3 Gerri Anna Hedgepeth, AB2B and dvmp61 reacted to this

Newbie12345 1 Posted March 29, 2017 I'm concerned about the same. I had mine the same day as you and have lost 58 pounds. I'm almost at my ideal weight and am afraid it will keep going down with only being able to eat 2-3 spoons of food. 1 dvmp61 reacted to this

If I have any questions, I never hesitate to ask my doctor. But quoting a previous commenter, our bodies know what we are doing! As long as we feel good and are healthy, we most likely are doing everything right and our body is taking care of itself! But again, if you're worried, just go to your doctor for reassurance. Good luck! 1 Deactivatedfatgal reacted to this
#BirdDog 604 Posted March 29, 2017 I started at 370 by three months I was down just over 100lbs. Everyone loses at a different pace. Keep up the good work and listen to your body. Now I'm getting close to my goal weight and things are slowing down on their own. 3 CocoNina, Gerri Anna Hedgepeth and dvmp61 reacted to this
char3672 292 Posted March 29, 2017 Yes I want to lose gradually! Developing stones & having possible gallbladder surgery plus possibility of ear disease scares the shit out of me! Ear disease????

bellabloom 2,467 Posted April 1, 2017 Just embrace it. You're gonna have loose skin no matter how fast or slow you lose. Lose it while you can. 1 dvmp61 reacted to this
dvmp61 44 Posted April 2, 2017 I know I had mine a month before, but what's your current caloric intake? It's about 800 calories. My doctor wants me to get it between 800 and 1,000, but I struggle to get in 800.
SleevedinSI 58 Posted April 3, 2017 I started at 315 lbs pre op. I'm down 50 lbs. from 2/23 surgery. I looked at BMR and still struggle to get 1000 calories. I have not started much exercise yet.
