Hi I was sleeved on 3/13 also! My dr has me on liquid diet until two weeks out. I haven't been consuming the recommended Protein but I try! I also try to get at least a 20g yogurt in but it usually takes me two days for that and I was on whey protein but just switched to premier. Last weigh in at my Preop was 237 (with heels and clothes on) this morning i was 217. I know I've lost abt two pds a day since 3/13

I was sleeved 3/14. I have been using Isopure (gag) with nonfat milk for part of my Protein and then taking a New Whey Shot (also gag) to get the rest in. The isopure is 50g protein for 1 serving so I do half a serving in AM then whey shot (42g protein in only 3.5oz liquid) in the evening. It has been working well to hit my protein goals even though it doesn't taste very good. Got both products at GNC but noticed that Walmart had the shots they other day.

I stopped weighing myself because I was starting get scared at how rapid it was falling off last week. I've done SOOOOOO much better yesterday and today with getting in my Protein. I've already downed 30g of protein today and nearly a 17oz bottle of water/juice :) My concern is losing to fast and having gallbladder problems, lol. Other than my main incision pain, I feel like my old self!

Yeah my doc says it's normal because they placed a stitch in main incision area and also pulled out 75% of stomach from there. I went back to work yesterday and wore spams and placed a cloth towel over the area and it helps . :) Today I will likely get in about 60g of Protein as it's only 1pm me I've already done 30, each day gets easier😀

I was also sleeved on 3/13. I am still having trouble with getting liquids and I can begin to think about getting Proteins in. I still feel a spasm everything I take a sip of any liquid. And I have been having heart burn really bad here lately.

Lady Tee, are you only intaking Soups and Water? I honestly hate the way water taste now. I have to dilute it. I'm drinking at least 30-40oz or water or liquids and a Protein Drink as of yesterday each day is better. I don't get heartburn but I do burp alot

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
