ebarclay 33 Posted March 17, 2017 I had my surgery on Monday and today it is Friday. I've been able to eat a little scrambled egg and I'm getting my liquids down fine I got on the scale today and weight is the same as the day I had surgery. When did you guys start to see the scale move?
Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 20, 2017 Hi I was sleeved on 3/13 also! My dr has me on liquid diet until two weeks out. I haven't been consuming the recommended Protein but I try! I also try to get at least a 20g yogurt in but it usually takes me two days for that and I was on whey protein but just switched to premier. Last weigh in at my Preop was 237 (with heels and clothes on) this morning i was 217. I know I've lost abt two pds a day since 3/13 1 brina1030 reacted to this
ebarclay 33 Posted March 20, 2017 That's awesome on the weight loss and the scale started moving I've lost 6lbs in the last 2 days I'm doing fine getting my Water in and not so fine with my Protein so I'm really going to focus on that tomorrow and start using my fitness pal to help me keep track 2 Purplepassion41 and Deactivatedfatgal reacted to this

Amax11 0 Posted March 22, 2017 I was sleeved 3/14. I have been using Isopure (gag) with nonfat milk for part of my Protein and then taking a New Whey Shot (also gag) to get the rest in. The isopure is 50g protein for 1 serving so I do half a serving in AM then whey shot (42g protein in only 3.5oz liquid) in the evening. It has been working well to hit my protein goals even though it doesn't taste very good. Got both products at GNC but noticed that Walmart had the shots they other day. Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) I stopped weighing myself because I was starting get scared at how rapid it was falling off last week. I've done SOOOOOO much better yesterday and today with getting in my Protein. I've already downed 30g of protein today and nearly a 17oz bottle of water/juice My concern is losing to fast and having gallbladder problems, lol. Other than my main incision pain, I feel like my old self! Edited March 22, 2017 by Deactivatedfatgal
ebarclay 33 Posted March 22, 2017 I feel like I'm losing very slow I have PCOS so I think that might have something to do with it though yea I'm getting in about 30-40g of Protein in a day as well and I have pain around my belly button right now my left side was hurting me but I was picking up my son too much now it's better. 1 Deactivatedfatgal reacted to this
Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 22, 2017 Yeah my doc says it's normal because they placed a stitch in main incision area and also pulled out 75% of stomach from there. I went back to work yesterday and wore spams and placed a cloth towel over the area and it helps . Today I will likely get in about 60g of Protein as it's only 1pm me I've already done 30, each day gets easier😀
Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 22, 2017 And I thought I had pcos but was told I had normal levels! Pcos is hard as far as losing weight but I think you made best choice as you have tool that has proven to work for millions!
ebarclay 33 Posted March 22, 2017 I agree I am not so much focusing on what the scale says but on how I feel and look I'm excited for the journey. I've been walking twice a day how are you doing with walking 1 mxpxchik11 reacted to this

LadyTay 4 Posted March 22, 2017 I was also sleeved on 3/13. I am still having trouble with getting liquids and I can begin to think about getting Proteins in. I still feel a spasm everything I take a sip of any liquid. And I have been having heart burn really bad here lately.
Deactivatedfatgal 377 Posted March 23, 2017 Lady Tee, are you only intaking Soups and Water? I honestly hate the way water taste now. I have to dilute it. I'm drinking at least 30-40oz or water or liquids and a Protein Drink as of yesterday each day is better. I don't get heartburn but I do burp alot
