mizzkitty0614 3 Posted March 16, 2017 Hi all! I'm 10 days post RNY, and learned yesterday that I accidently tore a suture through coughing and/or sneezing. The pain is almost surreal at times. The surgeon advised to take a muscle relaxer, use a heating pad, and just rest as much as possible. Supposedly, the pain should subside in a couple weeks. He didn't seem overly concerned, and shared this is "normal." Has anyone else experienced this painful situation? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
