goldenbarbie 329 Posted March 13, 2017 I was sleeved in December and I'm STILL struggling to get in all 60g of Protein. shakes don't sit to well with me but I try to get in one a day. I get my protein in through salmon, yogurt or egg whites but not all 60g.Any suggestions/ideas? What shakes do you guys like? Maybe it's the brand of shakes I'm getting. Not sure. kokofamfour 42 Posted March 13, 2017 I have stayed with Atkins shakes. They are the easiest for me by far! 1 goldenbarbie reacted to this
kokofamfour 42 Posted March 13, 2017 Can you do tuna? I know one 2.6 gram pack with mayo and relish gives me 17 grams of Protein
blizair09 3,250 Posted March 13, 2017 My favorite Protein Shake is the Premier Protein chocolate. I haven't really had to rely on shakes much for several months now, but on days I have to travel for work, they really come in handy. I'd suggest eating small meals several times a day to meet your Protein goals. Even at 5+ months post-op, I still eat 7 times per day, about 2 hours apart. I usually get about 100-120 grams of protein per day, so you should be able to get to 60 without too much problem using that strategy. (BTW, the premier protein is 30 grams in 1 container, so that would get you halfway there on its own...) 1 goldenbarbie reacted to this
SleevedinSI 58 Posted March 13, 2017 My nut allows one cup of coffee per day. I add half of a premier vanilla shake and it tastes just like coffee mate vanilla Creamer. There , 15 g of Protein in the morning coffee. 2 goldenbarbie and Lin Smallwood reacted to this
