Sarah52 1 Posted March 12, 2017 Ok, I cheated. I am having surgery March 13 and I had a bean burrito today. I feel awful. I've lost 10 pounds and was so close. Do you think this will stop my liver from shrinking?
Pescador 1,374 Posted March 12, 2017 Sorry but you will be cheating a lot more than this. At some point you will STOP a losing weight so do your best NOW. Gaining 30 lbs is IMPOSSIBLE to get off. 2 CocoNina and Sarah52 reacted to this

Jesm1029 101 Posted March 12, 2017 It won't but I agree with the post above you will find yourself cheating and be sure to hold yourself accountable that's what I do when I see the scale move up I cut back and go back to basics 1 Sarah52 reacted to this
CocoNina 210 Posted March 12, 2017 The pre-op diet really prepares you for what's next to come after surgery. March 13th is two days away. Make sure you stick to your liquid diet. Some doctors open up their patients just to close them up again because they couldn't operate on them because of food in stomach, etc... you don't want to be disappointed.Height: 5'0"Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs.Surgery date: 2/13/17Goal: -71 lbs for healthy BMI (about 145 lbs).Current weight: 185.2My profile picture is not me. It's my "FITspiration" body. 2 Sarah52 and _Kate_ reacted to this
blizair09 3,250 Posted March 12, 2017 I would definitely tell your surgeon what you have done. He/she needs to know. 2 _Kate_ and Sarah52 reacted to this
Syaniya 319 Posted March 12, 2017 No, it shouldnt. My surgery is scheduled gor 3/31 and my surgeon does not habe any of his patients do a pre op diet for weeks. Our pre op diet is the day before surgery just Clear Liquids. He said he can get past our liver no matter how big it is and he doesnt think its right having us stressed out about it. Dont worry about it, but just remember that slipping up after surgery is not going to be an option. Your stomach is very raw and needsvto heal properly and a bean burrito will not help that Move on, dont stress, and keep looking forward, not backward. 1 Sarah52 reacted to this
