lrob23 6 Posted March 12, 2017 I've realized ever since I got out of the hospital that my mouth gets dry really easily. I wake up multiple times at night because it's so dry. I've read that it could be because I'm dehydrated but I'm already drinking so much Water a day. Also, I've noticed that I've had bad breath. Not morning breath or anything like that but I can't get it to go away. Any ideas or experiences with this?
kkami12 52 Posted March 12, 2017 The bad taste is ketosis, it sucks but the only way to get rid of it is to keep drinking. Sounds like dehydration, maybe try to up the fluids and keep Water with you at night. If you feel dizzy or anything else id go to the er for iv fluids 1 James Marusek reacted to this
clc9 644 Posted March 12, 2017 Biotene rinses and sprays can help with mouth moisture too. I also wake up with a really dry mouth a lot since surgery and I drink a lot of liquids.< br> 1 James Marusek reacted to this
