I have a question about exercise, Is there a certain amount of Cardio and other exercise we should do on a weekly basis? I have a treadmil(hubby got for Christmas for me, don't worry I asked for it!) And I have a exercise ball but other than Sit-ups I have no earthly clue what to do with it! I was also wondering if anyone knew how much exercise to start off with.??? I am a little confused by it all at this point. Can someone please help me.. I was also wondering how to calculate your fat burning Pulse. Help me please!

There should be plenty of exercise websites online. I don't know much about the technicalities, but I do know that you should be doing at least 30 minutes of SOMETHING at least 3-5 times a week. We all start at different levels. According to your own personal fitness you can start anywhere - from walking 30 minutes at a time to going all out and going to the gym. Personally, I was very UN-fit physically, so I had to work up from walking 10-15 minutes on a treadmill to walking 30-60 minutes on the treadmill. I then moved on to Curves 3-5 times a week and I've now added a stationary bike at home and a regular bike when I can fit that in. If nothing else, walk, walk, walk...

Be sure that you're doing something consistently. Pace yourself so you'll continue to do something. If you start extremely hard, chances are you won't stick with it. But if you can gradually increase your stamina, you'll find that you'll want to do a little bit more each time. I couldn't even walk once around our 1/3 mile block without huffing and puffing in May and my feet/ankles killing me. I gradually built my time up. Then progressed to bicycling. I've found that I loved it and have taken part in some bike benefits (20 and 25 miles). In October, I was able to go on 4 and 5 hour mountain hikes every day. I never could have done this in the past! It all begins with a single step!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
