K80Liz 0 Posted March 10, 2017 I'm one week postop, and started my period - this caught me off guard because I just completed my cycle 4 days before surgery. So it's been about 2 weeks since the start of my last period. I know surgery causes alot of stress on your body, I was just wondering if this could have something to do with it, or if anyone else has experienced this. kk 5 Posted March 10, 2017 My periods can come on during times off stress. When my grand father passed away I had my period on and off for a month with 2 days break between. It's a normal way for your body to react to stress. 1 K80Liz reacted to this

recreatingcate 132 Posted March 11, 2017 Happened to me too! I was so surprised. I'm on the pill, never skip, and it came out of nowhere. Doc said it's normal. Wish someone had warned me about it beforehand though, so I would have been a little more prepared haha. 2 taylorjay and K80Liz reacted to this
EmmyJ 184 Posted March 11, 2017 I got it too. It was on time, but my periods never actually come on time, so I was surprised anyway I guess surgery does that! 1 K80Liz reacted to this
