jcehlendt 8 Posted March 7, 2017 Apparently I was denied because there is no proof in my medical records that o haven't smoked in at least 8 weeks. Well, maybe that's because I haven't smoked in 9 years. I hate having to wait until tomorrow to get to the bottom of this one.

timeless333 3 Posted March 18, 2017 Did they have you take a nicotine/tobacco lab test?
jcehlendt 8 Posted March 18, 2017 Did they have you take a nicotine/tobacco lab test? No, BCBS said that my doctors office could just write a letter stating that I haven't smoked in the last 8 weeks. Nothing in my records stated I was a smoker, which I'm not, but nothing stated I wasn't. The nurse who handles all the paperwork has been out for the last 2 weeks, she will be back on Mondaubto resubmit my paperwork.
