dawndreamer 0 Posted September 29, 2007 I had my surgery in august of 2005 and the last fill was in november 2006. I have only lost 50 pounds for 1 thing but the big problem is my Doctor is no longer available. He is in private practice now and my insurance wont cover him. They referred me to a Dr. at Rush in Chicago but he wont do fills or even see me again. He refers me back to Dr. Shayani, who did the surgery. Does any one have any suggestions. The insurance co is not much help at this point. Dawndreamer in Palatin Illinois
WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted September 29, 2007 You have to go through your insurance company as only they know who they contract with. You'll just have to keep calling and insist they give you some names. There is always cash pay for fills in a pinch.

Buckru 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Dr Shayani also did my surgery on 9-17-07 through DayOneHealth. Weight loss is steady and I'm doing well. I'm going for my first fill in two weeks. Have you had your fills done in Oak Brook? Have they gone well for you? Its been suggested I get the fills downtown - but a long drive since I'm so close to Oakbrook. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thx
Jeni 85 0 Posted October 12, 2007 they probably suggested downtown cause they do the fills under fluoroscope there... at oakbrook he does it without... I still go to the oakbrook one only cause i hate downtown traffic.. and your charged for parking. Good Luck and isnt Dr. Shayani awesome???? -Jeni Dr Shayani also did my surgery on 9-17-07 through DayOneHealth. Weight loss is steady and I'm doing well. I'm going for my first fill in two weeks.
