JerseyJules 862 Posted March 15, 2017 Today I am officially the lightest I have been in over 15 years. When I met my wife I was 265 and 28 years old. Simply amazed how this thing works. 4 Beegirl51, pmm919, dg371 and 1 other reacted to this

JerseyJules 862 Posted March 19, 2017 I feel as if I am losing weight way too rapidly, and getting lightheaded at times. I recently started adding a banana and tablespoon of natural Peanut Butter and natural local honey to my morning shake to try and give me a little caloric boost for the day. So far so good, but I had some nasty lower intestinal discomfort, I attribute to the banana and the sugary starches in it. Im down over 31 lbs in 3 weeks which is way too fast of a weight loss in my opinion..
JerseyJules 862 Posted March 20, 2017 3 week update. Warning, some fat shaming....Down 32 lbs so far.
Berry78 4,261 Posted March 21, 2017 Dude.. harsh! Lol. Guess guys get crazy hormones too! As for the standing up dizziness.. it's called orthostatic hypotension. Very hard to catch on a blood pressure machine. Make sure you are drinking enough, and getting enough salt. Compression legwear can help, but it needs to be professionally fitted, medical grade. sally628 63 Posted March 22, 2017 I appreciate your candidness . I too was always i the gym trying g to lose weight only to gain . I was so upset and my husband you to say as long as you are throwing something I'm fine w it ! Obviously he didn't want an obese wife but he saw my struggle and just didn't want me to give up . I had no other health issues either I think only because of the exercise . I m three weeks post op Thursday ! Felt the dizziness too and trying to increase my calories a bit . I'm back at the gym but don't feel I have enough calories yet to add weights. Hopefully next week ! I'm only down about 16 but I'm starting to feel good ! 2 Steph223 and JerseyJules reacted to this

If we weren't so Politically correct as a society we might actually stand a chance fighting the epidemic that is obesity. The fact that doctors are afraid to even suggest their patients lose weight for their health, speaks volumes for the disservice were doing to ourselves. 3 ProudGrammy, Deactivatedfatgal and GeTnBackuP reacted to this

The whole Gym and diet routine was frustrating to unimaginable levels. Work out and eat clean for 2 to 3 months to only see a small move on the scale and you get frustrated and go back to old habits. This surgery makes it so easy to lose weight.
