First dumping

I'm 3 months post op and I ate a donut last night and it was the worst decision I've made in my life. I felt TERRIBLE. I had cold sweats, dry heaves, a headache, the worst stomach ache I've ever had, and I was even shivering. I felt like I was dying.

Needless to say I am going to be steering CLEAR of sugar from now on.

Dumping Syndrome Is Still Possible After Gastric SleeveBut Rarer. It should be noted that dumping syndrome can still happen in gastric sleevepatients, but it is much rarer. The condition tends to be triggered when gastric sleeve patients have foods that are fatty, sugary, or generally rich.

Ahh.. this is the gastric sleeve forums. I think that's why people might have been confused.

I've never heard of dumping with sleeve but given one of the posts above I might give it a look.

Dumping with the sleeve can happen with fatty, sugary, or rich food.
