It's Laurend's fault!!!

Recommended Posts

Laurend does this really taste like chocolate & Peanut Butter, as opposed to, say, the cheap ass easter candy "chocolate and peanut butter" that are waxy chocolate surrounding compressed Peanut Butter flakes?

I normally just add a spoonful of peanut butter to my chocolate mixes, but if I can get the flavor, without the fat/calories... I'm "in like phlegm" (as my husband, who often misunderstands English, would say).

Wheetsin- It does not taste like the real Peanut Butter mixed in a chocolate shake. It is a very good lower calorie alternative but it does taste different. I did like it better mixed in a water bottle than when I blended it with ice. It also would probably be a little bit better with some milk. But I do enjoy the shake very much and I will be able to use it now in the mornings for Breakfast and treat myself with the real peanut butter one once every few days.

Wheetsin...

This stuff is kind of expensive so I wouldn't buy it until you know you like it. I think it's GREAT! I like the texture the most.

I ordered the Choco/peanutbutter and the dreamy creamy milk chocolate. I won't be getting it until about a week from Monday but if you want me to send you some samples I'd be happy to.

I can send you the two flavors above, chocolate Matrix, Chocolate nectar, and vanilla nectar. Just let me know.

BTW, Matrix is coming out with a Chocolate/Peanut butter too.

Does anyone have the link to that peanutbutter powder stuff? I KNOW I saw it here but I can't remember which part of the forum and I've tried several searches but I can't find it because I don't know the name of it.

Great! Thank you.

I'll send you some of the whey Gourmet Milk chocolate, some Syntrax chocolate nectar (you MUST use a flavoring like Da Vinci, it kills the after taste), and some vanilla nectar from Syntrax.< /p>

Have you tried the Parmesan Crackers yet? When I get that order for the whey Gourmet there will be Parmesan crackers too in case you haven't tried them yet.

I can also send samples of Da Vinci now since the weather is cooling off. Before it was too hot and they exploded on those little tupperware containers. I have Spice (ICK!), strawberry, blueberry, Chocolate, Raspberry, Peanutbutter, and I think that's all.

I haven't tried the crackers yet, so that would be great! A couple of samples of the strawberry and raspberry DaVinci flavors sounds yummy, too.

It's more of a candy flavor, honestly. But, it's only 120 calories per serving, also, so you do get a nice peanut butter flavor without the calories.

YES! OMG thank you! I have been making myself crazy doing searches trying to find this stuff.

Have you tried it? Do you like it?

No, I haven't tried it ... but this person did and they say it's awesome :)

The PB2 is REALLY REALLY good.

I mixed it as powder in oatmeal and in my choc Protein shake.

You can add a little Water to make it a spread (like regular PB) and I put it on a banana and an apple. My boyfriend put some on a sandwich with jelly today to test it out and said it tasted no different than using the Skippy he normally uses.

<O:p</O:p

I'm going to make peanut chicken (from the recipes on bellplantion.com) in the crock pot with it in the next few days. I'll report back.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
