Was wondering if anyone else feels a weird, burning feeling in the throat and chest after drinking? it kind of feels like heartburn. It's very odd. Pam_2-06-2017 375 Posted March 2, 2017 I didn't have it post op. My dr put me on Nexium 1 time a day at bed time. I missed two days and I realized why he did that. I'm almost 4 weeks out now and it is gone. Although I get it back if I eat too much. Has happened a couple times but I have since learned what full feels like.
