kins117 104 Posted March 1, 2017 How did you determine what your goal weight will be after surgery? Was it given to you by your doctor? Did you base it on healthy BMI range? I'm trying to figure out a good goal weight for myself and not sure if I'm on the right track.
PatientEleventyBillion 851 Posted March 1, 2017 My goal was based on what it was a few years ago. This was 180. Ideally I'd like 150-180. However, with the lifestyle implementations I've already started, it could well get below that. Or maybe it gets stuck at 200. What really matters is the changes applied and the overall improvements to quality of life + lifespan. 1 Newme17 reacted to this

I have a number thrown in as an idea (my single days weight), but it's not what I will follow really. If I get there, ok. If I don't get there, ok too. As long as I've improved my health and am happy about whatever I get to. I also think my age plays a part, because I'm nearly 40, I don't really care about the number like I did in my 20's; I just need to be healthier and prevent ill health from happening.
