Hey Suzyq and Welcome. Im not banded yet. Still doing my dietician visits. I have PCOS too. Thats why I am getting the band. I have tried everything know to man to lose weight. Only thing that works for me is eating a lower carb diet. I can lose weight....its just keeping it off thats the problem. My endo dr. suggested having the lap band placed, and here I am. I quit smoking almost 3 months ago. I smoked for 20+yrs and was very concerned about my health, plus my surgeon strongly suggested that I quit.

Hi I am just outside of Rochester...Middleport. I quit for a few months before my operation. Sadly I started a few months after. I am on a script for pain in my legs. Tramadol. It makes me crave big time. I smoke about a pack a week.
