AnneElliot 79 Posted February 28, 2017 No coffee for me! I developed acid reflux due to the sleeve, which is pretty common. coffee makes it worse. So yea, living life without coffee or tea SUCKS.
mylighthouse 782 Posted February 28, 2017 I drink a Starbucks iced skinny mocha for a treat every now and then. I love them and have no problems with drinking it whatsoever. The only thing to watch for me are the empty calories, the carbs and the sugar. I make regular coffee at home and have 1-2 cups every morning. No problems. Started drinking regular coffee at about 8 weeks post op.

up4challenge 54 Posted February 28, 2017 I was a coffeeholic before the surgery and used to get headaches if I don't consume at least 1 cup in 24 hours. But it all changed after the surgery. I am a 9 weeks post surgery and I've have consumed coffee only 3 times in these 9 weeks. I kind of dislike the taste and smell . I feel sad, but I don't crave for it nor want to have it. hermione53 157 Posted March 1, 2017 I first drank Decaf. Now (10 weeks out), I drink one 8 oz cup of regular coffee every morning without any problems. I think it helps with Constipation.
