I lose every year and gain it backNot sure where your from but here in Australia I'm pretty sure it's what bmi you started with. I was 31.3 and surgery BMI of around 31. kell911 62 Posted February 27, 2017 I started with close to 37 bmi, my insurance stated i had to lose and not gain at all between my weigh ins. i made sure i didn't. my surgeon told me it is the initial weight that counts. i am only my surgery is next week and so far my bmi is 34.5 or close to that.
