How are you all doing? What are you eating in a day? I'm drinking some Protein, eating some nonfat yogurt, some Soup and that's about it. Oh and Water. Water. Are you sleeping, I'm struggling.

My diet has progressed to full liquids and I'm able to tolerate, SF Jello, SF pudding with added Protein, puréed creamy Soups with added Protein, SF popsicles, yogurts, natural applesauce and Protein shakes.

I am doing fairly well, no longer taking pain meds and able to tolerate my diet without N&V. Went to the market yesterday and walked around for 40 minutes. I have 16 staples which get removed Thursday this week but must say getting around pretty good.

How is your recovery progressing?

I'm doing well. I see my Dr on Wednesday. I, too, went to the market yesterday. First time I was out. No more pain meds and no problems tolerating anything. I'm anxious to see the Dr to affirm I'm progressing. I've no staples, I'm glued, boy am I itchy.

I have heard many others say they are itchy as well. That's usually a sign of healing so that maybe a good sign that your body is healing. Wishing you much success on this journey, happy you are doing well.

Hi! I was sleeved 2/10 in Boston. I'm having some struggles that I wondered if y'all were having or experienced at any point? I'm trying to drink Water a lot. I'm dehydrated & feeling the gross affects of that, so that doesn't make it any easier. Though I'm seeing the scale tick down everyday, I'm still having mental issues with missing food. I occasionally experience cravings for foods that I probably should never eat again (mostly carbs). I'm a carbaholic. Anyone in this boat?

Hi skinny mini. I was sleeved on 2/23. I'm doing well still on all Clear Liquids as per my doctor. I am also having the worst cravings. My family is eating and cooking and the smell in the house is driving me crazy. I am encouraged because my total weight loss from highest wt to know is -30 pounds.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
