SkinnyMinnieHereICome 2 Posted March 5, 2017 I almost had a meltdown today. My inconsiderate husband broke open a bag of corn chips & salsa & started crunching away (quite loudly, might I add) right there in front of me. I got up, went to my room & loudly closed the door. I know this isn't about him, it's about me, but I'm just having a tough day today.

doingit4me2017 93 Posted March 9, 2017 My sleeve was 2/15, I'm down 18# since surgery. No pain, overall feel pretty good. Yesterday, the weather was nice so I went for a walk, then some light housework, and made dinner for the family. It was then I realized that I had been so busy that I had forgot to drink h20 for several hours, and I felt it. (The pre surgery me would have just drank down 20 oz with a straw in minutes. Not now.) I then spent the rest of the evening sipping Water all night. I need to remember to drink while I'm working, Lifestyle changes post surgery, #learning curve. That's why physically I feel I can go back to work next week, I"m off till April. But mentally I need to stay off. I have short term disability ,so I am lucky, I know some have to return to work sooner. I saved up my vacation time from last year to supplement the STD in preparation for this. At work I'm so busy sometimes I don't drink or eat, I need to retrain myself before going back to work. 1 call911 reacted to this
