orionburn 1,024 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Depends on your doctor. Ours was a mandatory 3 days / 2 nights. My doc only does surgeries on Wednesdays and the goal is to have you home Friday afternoon. It doesn't hurt to plan for the unexpected. I had some complications and didn't get home until the following Tuesday. There's always a potential to keep you an extra day for observation.
