Mindy78 372 Posted February 23, 2017 I had surgery October 3rd so I'm almost 5 months out. But started weight loss last January. Well I didn't post on Facebook or tell everyone. People close to me knew or if someone asked. I had a battle with cancer last year and my work was concerned about that, so I fessed up. I got married Saturday February the 11th. Some distant family and friends attended who didn't know I had changed so much. A lady from my church who does know over heard 2 women contemplating "what had happened to me" drugs being one conclusion. Seriously. I'm the last person who would do that. My now husband a police officer by day pastor 24/7 I've never really even drank. Rant over just wondered if anyone not open about surgery ever had that happen. 1 dvmp61 reacted to this

It bothered her, but she didn't talk about it much Talking about it doesn't bother me. I had someone ask me can I ask a personal? what are you doing" at my reception and I was honest about it also at that point I had lost 85 lbs and almost half of it was before I had the surgery. That its another tool. I don't eat as much, but I could still eat the wrong things and not loose even gain. I found out at church last night and irritated. Everybody who knows me knows just ask. Mindy78 372 Posted February 23, 2017 This deserves the start of a sticky... 1001 [WRONG] reasons you look like a million bucks!1. Drugs2. TapewormLol yep. I've seen people on drugs some pretty bad, tape worm never personally met anyone, and cancer I have seen a lot. None of the people I saw looked healthy. I've seen people w rny who did look a bit sick right before they started maintenance phase. I'm not there yet. Didn't think I was close to sick, malnourished looking. My start weight was 292 my all time recorded high 334 about 6 years ago. I'm not even in onederland yet. Oh so close but not there. Yes my hair sheds quite a bit but there's a lot left. blondie66 271 Posted March 9, 2017 Eat less and exercising more which is true that's what i say. I can't believe what some people will say they can be so rude! But I didn't have hair noticeable loss that one would be harder to explain. But you look great! All that matters is your truth no one else's business.
